Oxford & Cambridge Entrance Tuition
A particular area of specialism for me is helping students prepare for Oxbridge entrance examinations and interviews.
I strongly believe that rigorous preparation can make a significant difference in the probability that a student is accepted.
I have myself been through the interview process for Oxford and Cambridge at the undergraduate and graduate level, in
physics & economics respectively, which I believe stands me in good stead to help students through the somewhat
‘different’ application process to which Oxbridge adheres.
I like to start working with students before they apply, and advise students on how to improve their application. In terms of application readiness, I would recommend that every student should:
Read extensively on the subject area to which you are applying (first year undergraduate reading lists are often a good place to start)
Look at the research interests of the tutors in the subject to which you are applying. This is particularly important as it may yield an indication of the types of question you could be asked in interview.
